Captain James Robert McMichael Civil War diary and letters

This collection includes a typed transcription of a diary of Captain James Robert McMichael written while a prisoner-of-war. The collection also contains typed transcriptions of letters received while in prison at Fort Delaware, names of units of fellow prisoners, and their signatures, a poem by Captain Jas. R.
